UN chief announces climate emergency

United Nations Secretary-General (UN) Antonio Guterres announced at the G7 summit that the 2015-2019 climate has been the hottest in the history of meteorological observations. For example, the unpredictability of weather conditions, which threatens food production, rising sea levels, which increases the risk of natural disasters, are a consequence of climate change and have a global character and unprecedented scale. If decisive action is not taken today, further adaptation to climate change requires great effort and expense.

In October 2018, the IPCC published a Special Report about global warming by 1.5 ° C. The report highlights a number of climate change impacts that could be mitigated by limiting global warming to 1.5 ° C compared to 2 ° C or more.

For example, by 2100, global sea level rise will be 10 cm below global warming by 1.5 ° C compared to 2 ° C. It is plausible that with global warming by 1.5 ° C, the Arctic Ocean would be free from summer sea ice once a century, and in the case of warming by 2 ° C once a decade. The number of coral reefs will decrease by 70-90 percent with global warming by 1.5 ° C, while virtually all of them (>99 percent) will be lost by warming by 2 ° C.

The climate of the planet has changed a lot in recent years. This has affected both Europe and Ukraine in particular. Global climatic changes caused by the strongest in human history, wildfires, CO2 emissions and other human life outcomes have led to powerful tornadoes in the United States, devastating squalls and tornadoes, tropical rainfall and large hailstones.

Such powerful climatic effects are destroying homes, tearing down roofs and breaking facades.

Our company, like you, is a resident of our planet, and we are trying to help the planet and humans survive, using not only technology-friendly technology, but also producing robust façade structures that are resistant to extreme weather conditions – strong storms, unusually large hailstorms, showers. We have tried our best to ensure that the SKANROK facades provide the highest thermal engineering while maintaining a normal microclimate in unbearable heat and severe cold.

We want to reach out to all our partners and customers. Friends, let us together protect our nature and help our planet survive!
